Clemson is just really

SPECIAL!! My 4 year old's first trip to Death Valley did not disappoint. We managed to squeeze in EVERYTHING that is a "must". First, we had his face painted with tiger paws....yes, both cheeks. Next, he played on the inflatables and games at the Tiger Pregame show area at Littlejohn. Onto the TIGER WALK, where he gave tons of high fives to the players, including Sammy and Dabo. Then, after asking me 150 times during the first half can he go see the Tiger, we made it across 3 sections and stood there to get pics with The Tiger and Tiger Cub. After the game, we managed to get a couple of pics with players, Bradley Pinion, Tony Steward and Joe Gore. (Which by the way....holy cow, Joe Gore is a HUGE man. My son barely came to his knee caps! And, Steward was so incredibly nice and patient. Such a nice, nice young man.) Then, no trip would be complete without pics at The Rock and a run down The Hill. Thinking that we could not squeeze anything else in, and pretty proud of myself for making this all happen by myself, when we got back to our tailgate spot, there were kids sliding down the hills with cardboard. So, of course he did that too! Now, I know this is lengthy, but the BEST part of all of this was the next morning on our way to church. If any of you have looked at my posts in the past, you know my husband is a COOT, but as soon as we got in the car, my son wanted to hear the Tiger song (Tiger Rag) that I have on my ipod. My husband wouldn't play it, but after an utter meltdown, screaming fit by my son, he finally gave in and we listened to Tiger Rag over and over on our way to church. Oh - I forgot to mention that we bought a Tiger Tail and he would not take it off....even wore it to church. You coudn't wipe the smile off of my face as he told my husband, that the Go ##### stunk like rotten eggs and the Go Tigers were BETTER! LOL! I was exhausted, but I'm so glad he had the best time ever in Death Valley and I hope he'll always remember our memories from that day.

Sounds like an awesome day for you and your son! Don't let that kid fall to the way of the coot.

How awesome that you made such a good impression. Hopefully you've saved him from a lifetime of rooting for chickens.

Awesome story!
My son just this weekend mentioned something that we did before a Clemson game 9 years ago when he was 4. So yes, he WILL remember.

My daughters are 5 and 3, and they both say that they love the "Go Tigers" just like yours! I took my girls on Saturday & had similar stories. Just an awesome place!

Awwwhh....I'm glad to provide a smile for you today. Smiles are good, since so many people are nervous about Saturday's game.

Being nervous is what makes the game fun!

It's fun when you know you're going to dominate an opponent, but not like it is when you're on the edge of your seat all game. Or, better yet, when you can't sit because you're way too excited. Yeah, we're nervous, but when we win the victory will be that much sweeter.
Go TIGERS!
