So, bands others seem to like that I don't is more the list I have.
I would put #1, #2, #3 on that list. #4 & #5 are not in my top ten, but surely not in my bottom 10 either.
I would add Journey and Bon Jovi.

As a musician, the older I get, the more appreciation I have for bands.
1) Not a huge fan of Aerosmith’s later stuff. But Dream On is one of my all time favorites. Steven Tyler is an absolute vocal freak. The fact that he still can belt that stuff out in his 70s is amazing.
2) G N R - uh - first album was the best. Always think of my college days when I hear any of those songs.
3) Van Halen. Again, early stuff was the best. Can’t agree they’re overrated.
4) Queen - this is one that I like more as I got older. Freddie Mercury is one of the greatest vocalists of all times and he was a musical genius.
5) Eagles - not my favorite. I enjoy a few of their songs. But I give them a lot of respect for their signature sound. Dang good musicians.

Eagles get respect even if I don't like their music. and GnR had a couple of really good songs but are probably over rated by some but would be far under the other 4 by most anyway
