Short week Thursday games

This year we have two Thursday night games and both are after an open date.

In the past we had to play away at GT or VT on a short week, as I recall.

This is an improvement. Did some rules change, or did we finally just get lucky?

same amount of preparation. We just lucked out they scheduled us both with byes. Take a look at Virginia Tech's schedule, they got hosed in the timing of GT (short week).

This season and next the dates work out to 14 weeks instead of 13. Every team has two bye weeks. Made it much easier to schedule every Thursday night game after a bye.
