The last coach Carolina had who really wanted to go there was Brad Scott. He wasn't ready to be a head coach - at least not at a school with the level of political meddling that goes on in Columbia and he was more than ready to go by the time they fired him.

The irony is that the horrible experience he had with bad chemistry on his SC coaching staff probably meant that he was able to give Dabo some pretty sound advice in that area when he took over.
