There’s a 0% chance It’s a coincidence the panthers

Not drafted one our players. ZERO.
25 years? 7 picks a year? 175+ players and never a Clemson Tiger? Give me a break. We’re clearly a blue blood program and have been absolutely dominant the last 9 years.
Zero chance. I’ve never like the panthers, I’m a falcons fan...

Plus most nfl teams take advantage of local routes when they have a chance.
Falcons use UGA a lot Saints use LSU Cowboys use Oklahoma and Texas Lions and Michigan etc

on his record.
T_I_P is right about other NFL teams taking advantage of drafting players from local universities to draw fans from the area. It's a smart PR tactic. So, whether or not it's intentional, it's definitely not very smart.

I always that Jerry Richardson had the red a$$ for Clemson for some reason? Maybe they didn’t offer him back in the day. Who knows? Seems like the new regime going to follow in his footsteps. May they will tank and we can mount a campaign to get Trevor to tell em to frig off??

Obviously, since they are close to campus, players who are not drafted go there as free agents. I know Boulware tried to make the team as a FA. I can't remember, have any of our FA's made the team before? GO TIGERS!!!

Taylor Hearn made the roster a few years ago. He may have started a few games.

Two other franchises are apparently part of this boycott of Clemson players. Neither New England nor Baltimore have drafted a Clemson player during the existence of the Panthers (1995-present).
The Patriots did draft a Clemson player most recently in 1990 and the Baltimore Colts last selected one in 1982. The Ravens obviously never have. They also just selected their first LSU player ever on Thursday which seems just as unlikely as Carolina never drafting a Clemson player.

their might be at least one player drafted from Clemson. I mean are all the Panthers fans coots, NC school fans, or Yankee transplants who don't watch college football?

In the 1980s New England started both Rod McSwain at cornerback and Johnny Rembert at linebacker. That is good enough for a 35 year pass. Rembert had a couple of very big years for them.

I think this is a conspiracy theory where there doesn't really need to be one. Looking at other teams' selections since 1995 (i.e. the Panthers' first year in the draft), including this year's selections:
None: Ravens (none ever), Patriots 1 player: Cowboys, Bears, Jaguars, Saints, Lions 2 players: Cardinals, Chiefs, Steelers, Packers, Browns

Conspiracy or not, it seems to me Clemson has had enough great players that Panthers could have drafted one or two over the years just as a show of good will.

I’ll take where we are now and not worry about being a blue blood.Choklahoma can have their Bud Wilkerson and Barry Switzer days gone by.Same goes for ND with Ara and Knute.Real USC not faring so well either.Tradition is great but doesn’t win championships. All in!!!

Take the best player that's available. Period. Anyone who thinks there is an agenda against Clemson from the Panthers is beyond incomparable of making a statement like this. Your intelligence speaks for itself, a Falcons fan. Don't let your bias against an NFL team that has as many Super Bowl appearances as yours in less amount of time make poor decisions. There are many NFL teams that haven't been even close to a close to a super bowl. In 25 years the Carolina Panthers have been twice. So who are you to judge a very successful organization! There is nothing you or anyone can say about what I just stated. Keep Pounding

Jerry Richardson could not get into Clemson. This ate at his being. The Panthers will draft a Clemson player. Just a matter of time now.
