iPhone 11 is out of even the "nice" price range.
Any ONE of the others would count as the nice gift. Then the other 30 cheap gifts probably equals another nice gift. I have been lobbying the wife for years to do JUST TWO nice gifts, and NOTHING ELSE. She is of the opinion that the room must be filled with crap to impress the boys. I'm like they'd be more impressed with one or two nice gifts, and our house wouldn't look like a trailer in Swansea.

I think we might spend like $250 in total on each kid (that was even when there were only 2 and before that 1). They get so much #### from everybody else they don't need it. I can't hardly walk through my house without stepping on toys and #### everywhere.

Wife is adamantly against a pontoon as our only boat. Taking her to look at a Key West Saturday morning. She doesn't like the fact that we have to board our current boat from the stern, and there's the potential for our son to fall off and hit the outdrive. Pretty nice unexpected chain of events seems to be unfolding.

But that's not out of the ballpark. My three will probably run $1,000 to $1,200. I would just like that budget to result in 6 items, not 60. And they're 2yo, 5yo, and 10yo. I would expect that to climb as they age into more expensive stuff.

We give them a couple of gifts under the tree, but the main gift is and experience. We've been taking them to plays, concerts and movies they wanted to see. This year, I'll be taking a pottery class with one of them. I've always wanted to take one and it's something she will remember the rest of her life.

My wants are simple. Every one of you guys and gals can send me cash.
