I was looking forward to watching our D make him eat his words all night long. Too bad. Hopefully he recovers well.

I'm exhausted trying to pull both Notre Dame AND Florida State through today so that when we whip those butts the wins count as quality wins and not devalued ones based on their crappy won loss record. Strength of schedule is almost everything in this new playoff system.

Depending on the painkillers at ND... He still may get his dream of playing Clemson on the Moon.

can't really call this true karma...

Karma would've involved him actually taking the field in DV and getting plastered all game long by our defense. From a football standpoint, hate we're not gonna be able to make that *** cash the check his mouth wrote. Outside of that, hope the guy does have a speedy recovery.

I surly wish he could have made it another 2 weeks. I guess the moon trip has been canceled, and has been rescheduled at the Doctors office or the ice tub!!!

I hate to hear any player getting injured, but ND got exposed in this game. They had trouble handling a road game in Virginia? Death Valley would eat you alive.

Wonder if Everett Golson is having any regrets, guilt
Sep 13, 2015, 4:15 AM
|
|
He may be thinking "did i abandon my team and teammates, now they need me?". Of course they booted him in 2013 for an honor code violation. He'll have more time to think about it if he gets benched at FSU. His situation would then be similar to Danny O'Brien (Maryland, Wisconsin) in 2012. How FSU and ND's seasons play out will no doubt will no doubt factor in his remorse. Either way, hope we pound his former and present teams

Won't get benched at FSU for an honor code violation; that's for sure.

Sad for Zaire, but ND looked so-so even with Zaire.
Sep 13, 2015, 12:07 PM

Even if Zaire were healthy, (after watching that game) I would have felt MUCH better about our chances of beating ND in Death Valley. I dare say that (unlike ND's marginal performance even when Zaire was still playing against UVA) Clemson would have spanked UVA.

Here's to a full recovery for the young man. Maybe this process will humble him some.
