Seemed like Charleston was always good under Bobby Cremins, and usually they were. But not once did they win the SoCon tournament and make the big dance while he was there. They haven't been in the tournament since 1999. That just surprised me a little.

I agree. I read somewhere that it had been 99 since they were in the dance and had to double check it to make sure.

Not a great surprise when you consider that S.C. produces almost no top basketball talent. They all play football!
