I know there are a lot of "ifs" but if DW4 takes up where he left off, the sky is the limit. I also believe eSECpn won't have us highly rated preseason but who really cares?

have a great shot to win it. Like this year, we are at FSU's 18 with under a minute to go and fumble at the 14. Kick a FG there and we win the division this year and are playing in the championship game.
It seems that college football is so even now. Just a play or two in some games makes the difference.
If the offense plays to potential and our D doesn't slip too far I'd say we have a good chance to win the ACC.
It'll depend on which way the ball bounces in 2 or 3 games.

Some ACC teams are getting better too. BC, NC State will be better I think. And GA Tech, with that QB will be another challenge but we have them at home. Not too many "gimmes" anymore.

Those teams will be better but still no where near the talent level of Clemson and FSU.

If we can avoid the outrageous number of injuries we suffered this season--especially when it comes to Watson--then yes, absolutely. If healthy, next season could be a playoff contender depending on how well the offensive line develops.

QB will be better
RB will be better
TE will be about the same
OL will be slightly worse or the same
WR will be better
Unless we have a surprising coaching catastrophe, I expect our offense to improve significantly next year.
Kicking game will be...?
Return game can't be worse
DL will be worse, but the cupboard is not totally bare. Shaq Lawson could start anywhere.
LB will be worse, but still solid.
DB's will be about the same, which is very good.
Our defense will be good enough, led by the master, to keep us in every game. And our offense won't give games away like they did last year.
Looking at our ACC opponents, FSU will experience a slight drop off, but we should have beat them this year anyway. Louisville might be a tough one because its on the road. Georgia Tech will apparently always be a threat to us for no good reason. NC State is capable of an upset in Raleigh. Miami should be a win, but they have the talent to surprise. Wake is an auto-win. We have Boston College at home, thank God. 8 wins is the worse scenario and National championship is the best. I see us going 10-3 again.
