No pressure at all.

Prevent the win defense is what it should be called. Can't stand it unless you're up by 21 with 15 seconds left.

I haven't seen any true prevent defense

They have been rushing at least their four down linemen on every play, whereas a prevent defense typically rushes three and leaves 8 guys in coverage.

UVA has used a LB spy on some plays in the 2nd half as well, which is clearly not prevent.

Louisville just made some good adjustments coming out of halftime, a d they have been executing in the second half without all the penalties.

They haven't changed to a prevent at all...

They are trying to protect the deep ball and contain the QB which literally leaves the middle wide open. That's how Jackson has made his money this year because he's fast. His deep is and will continue to be absolutely horrible.

Someone always posts about prevent defense

Oct 29, 2016, 3:15 PM

Any time a team that is losing starts to have success moving the ball in the 2nd half. It seems that a lot of people don't know what prevent defense is or at the very least they aren't able to recognize coverage when watching a game.

There were a few ppl on here during the Auburn game complaining about how Venables had supposedly switched to prevent defense I'm the 4th quarter at Auburn.
