Why don't we choose the early game when we host?

When I fly, I fly early to avoid afternoon storms that WILL come.
Seems like it would be advantageous to schedule the early game and likely avoid weather delay altogether. Nothing worse than having a starting pitcher 3 innings in and then sit for 2 hrs.

Can someone esplain?

Actually, 3 to 4 hours in mid-day sun is more fatiguing ...

... than same amount time in the evening.

So, Vanderbilt will get more time between games, but they were out in mid-day sun and Clemson wasn't.
