Jan 12, 2015, 9:54 PM

Until they equally distribute their donations I would wear something else.

Cause Nike pays the teams a LOT of money to do so.

you get what you give. The bigger schools get more money

because they sell more official Nike apparel. Clemson has a small alumni base compared to the big state schools and don't sell near the merchandise that the others do.

The founder of Nike, Phil Knight, is an Oregon grad. He gives $100s of millions to Oregon.

In fact, it is rumored that he may be approaching $1 BILLION.

Re: Why don't college teams wear something other than Nike?

There is like 120 something D-1 FBS colleges that play football.

And they all have 3 main choices: Nike, Addidas, Under Armour.

Nike is, I would say, the biggest of the three when it comes to football so that's why the majority wear Nike in college sports.

Of course you have a few outliers like GT that wear Russell.
