Why We Beat the Red Birds

Sep 25, 2016, 10:42 AM

1. we have experience in big games, on big stages--they do not
2. IMO our coaching staff is superior to theirs and have performed well over the last years--they have not
3. Jackson is 6-3 and 205 on their roster. Her has not been hit they way we will hit him---see our games agains OSO, Sooners, LSU, Miami etc to see how they fared against truly hard but clean hits
4. we have #4--they don't. He'll have a big game and lead us to victory.
5. Our home crowd will cause a few procedure calls against their O
6. Our D inbox is tops if not the best in college football. If we keep the edges and do not over rush we will contain him enough to make him throw the ball which will lead to turnovers as he is not a great QB throwing the ball
7. Assuming we open up the play book and throw over the middle to free up the outside routes, they will not be able to handle all of our receivers and someone will have a huge day for us.
8. They appear to be cocky to the point of over confidence and that will lead us to concentrate on business and show them just who is the boss!
9. They have played 4 games or so at the very top level they can. I seriously doubt they will be prepared for what Brent will dial up for them. Good ;luck holding back our D Line. I see several turnovers by them that will shorten the field for us.

I would say that they could be where we were a few years ago but they have a ways to go just as we did.

I like our tigers to win 38-17

Can't help but feel between the home field advantage and our D-line harassing Mr. Jackson early and often that the Tigers will roll. O will finally be clicking on all cylinders for this one. Biggest regular season game since ND last year.

If Levar is 205, DW is 250 and I am

I agree with everything but the coaching staff. Neck brace Bobby is one of theach best in the game, and Grantham isn't a slouch.

I agree. Once he gets down off the motorcycle, Petrino is a hell of a coach.
