Who starts at QB in 2017?

I don't want to hear it about talking about 2017. I'm bored and we're all grasping at straws trying to find good talkin' points until ACC Media Days at least. So I can look at 2017 if I want.
Will it be Bryant, the incumbent with the most playing time? Israel, who broke Tebows HS records with video game numbers? Cooper, who will be on the roster this year? Johnson, who's the highest rated and most talked about? Or Brice, the guy who I feel is in Hunter's shadow in the 2017 class, ready to surprise some folks?

I think it's Zerrick Cooper.
Bryant should change positions. But could be wrong on that, of course.

I don't think it will be Bryant but it's a fact that whoever gets the job will be top notch. Great to have a problem like this Hope we can continue to bring in the big time OL's. That's where great offenses begin

Agreed! Hopefully Zerrick grasp the system and shows us he can be the man. Kelly Bryant is a great athlete but he is not very good at reading Ds and make good throws.

QB. If he starts it will be because Cooper wasn't good enough and Brice and Hunter aren't ready as true frosh. Either way, Bryant won't finish his career at Clemson as a starting QB.

I think we've learned that with these top level prospects, you get them playing as early as possible. You're only going to have them for 3 years, don't waste one on a RS unless they just aren't ready.
Also, do we know who our first game is in 2017? Will it be Auburn at home?
These all make a difference in determining starter....

He is an early enrollee and our first game is Kent State followed by Auburn at home. Because of these two facts I think Johnson will be the starter. If we had a similar opening schedule in 2014 I believe DW4 would have gotten the start and I think that the coaching staff will have learned how to handle the QB battle better this time around.

I doubt that the first game opponent will be a deciding factor in who the QB will be The best guy according to the coaches will be the starter regardless of who or where we play. It will be very interesting to see who,from this great group,wins the job.

Dabo said that he didn't want a FR to start on the road at UGA and didn't become the starter until after the FSU game on the rod. Like the poster above said, the first game is Kent St at home and then AUburn at home...wouldn't surprise me if Johnson is pushing for the starting job.

I seriously hope it is Cooper. That would mean he is better than all the others that have been in the system 3+ years. If it is Hunter, he is a true stud to be able to beat all the other guys out.
