While I hate what happened to Lattimore

as much as anyone, here's the worst part about his injury:

USuC fans continue to express on the radio, message boards, etc. that Lattimore will always have a special place in Columbia and will always be taken care of by the community.

I CAN THINK OF NOTHING WORSE THAN THIS! If Lattimore never fully recovers (let's hope not) and misses the chance to become both a star and millionaire in the NFL, I hope he leaves that place and never ever looks back. To become a local hero (i.e. insurance agent) in trashlumbia would not only be degrading to someone of Lattimore's character, but disappointing. He deserves much better in life, and I for one hope he gets it.
