If we win and take down the Capons, we're in the BCS. that means either the Peach or Champs or Music City for NC State.
If they win, we're out of the BCS and taking one of the secondary ACC bowls.
It is in the Wuffie best interest to let us whip them.

either way, I don't think the outcome will be up to them. If we take care of our business, they can bring any team they like and still leave feeling like they brought the team that played Virginia.

The NC State team we see I don't think will determine the outcome of the game however. I think that will be determined by the Clemson team we see.

get a miserable effort from them like UVA did. That game was in Raleigh too... shocking.
NC State away from home this year:
35-21 L to Tennessee (GA Dome)
10-7 W @ Uconn
44-37 L @ Miami
20-18 W @ Maryland (MD missed 33 yd game winner)
43-35 L @ UNC
They will need to play better than that to beat us in DV.

those games. All of the teams they have played on the road have been incredibly inconsistent this season. It's hard to know who showed up against NC State in those.

well on the two bad defenses they played, but they've struggled to run against everyone.
They've also gotten torched through the air this year, which is funny b/c everyone knows how hyped their corners were this off season.

They played the FSU that showed up against VT, not the one we played. And they are a much different team away from the matchbox they call a stadium. Don't expect this one to be close. We will throw all over them and if we can limit their passing game to underneath throws then we will win handily.
