built up and commercial now. The area around the Windjammer (and the WJ itself) was unrecognizable when I went back a coupla years ago. SI is the best thing going down there now, with Folly a close second.
Haven't been to MB since 1994, and HH since 1998 or so. I guess I should wander back to those beaches at some point.

1. Edisto- empty, fishing, laid back
2. Sullivans- close to town, not trashy as Folly and not as snooty as IOP
3. North Myrtle- the sand and water

It's never crowded, mostly locals or people who own houses and not as many regular tourist types. And it's close enough to pawley's island or murrels inlet for good food options.

Unbelievably, south myrtle has gotten even trashier.
