I'm so glad he's down to 370. That 400 reported by that coot troll yesterday had me worried.

or actually my uncle who was the one who told me. I was just curious if anyone else had heard that rumor and if so, where it was reported.
I've only been called a coot once on here and that was one too many...

N/P! I would even do that for a coot. But I'm so glad I never had to. We would be really slacking to let a coot get to 666 TU points on OUR board.

So Crowder was around 370 during the spring game.
He holds his weight well so I see him playing at 305-315.
He lost 30 so hes at 340.
1 Redshirt year should be good

You are right. Need to get in weight room and get bodies in college lineman shape. Also, after Quarterback, OL is the most difficult position to learn. They need time to get used to speed of game and college D-line.

Even the guys (and they are very few and far between) who aren't perceived to need a RS really benefit with the extra year.

How do they DO that?!

Man, a football player's weight is like his Facebook status...he can change it whenever he wants lol. I mean, I know they work their tails off, but still. MacLain exploded (in a good way) when he made the switch to OL, and now Crowder has deflated (in a good way) since he was overweight at the spring game. Geez...meanwhile the rest of us struggle to gain or lose 5/10 at a time.

Yeah, but they also have meal plans, a nutritionist,

and apparently a chef now to prepare their meals at the training table...not to mention access to a world class weight lifting facility. They have everything they need to become a physical specimen (with the possible exception of genetics) at their respective positions. I'm sure those that need to gain weight are encouraged to gain muscle...not copious amounts of fat. Those that do aren't very disciplined. I don't think an overweight offensive lineman will cut it in Chad's system. I'm glad Crowder is getting into shape though...I'm ready to see him plow over a few D linemen.
If only I had access to all of this as well as some of the $EC's antler spray...I'd be jumping up 10lbs no problem lol.
