What is the hottest game you remember?

Mine has to be the 2003 UGA game. I got a sunburn on the back of my neck that was so bad it puffed up. Super hot that day, and the fact we got rammer jammered by them didn't help.

I'm younger than many on here, but Georgia 2013 was just absurdly hot. I remember I had my PFG shirt almost entirely unbuttoned and still couldn't cool off. Thank God for ice cold cheap beer.

I'm gonna say SC State last season. Only game I remember multiple people falling out at. We had 3 or 4 people in our section pass out.

it's called DEATH VALLEY and why we should ALWAYS play the big games such as FSU, ND, etc. in the afternoon. We give away our biggest advantage with night games. It would be interesting to know our record at night versus midday. Night games are for high school boys. Real men play in the DV heat.

Clemson has ZERO control on when games are played.
TV and the contracts will dictate when games are played and the admin will have no say in the time for these huge games.

Wrong. Clemson could decide that no game can start after a particular time and let the networks work around that rule. At UGA no game can begin after six p.m. Works for them

Got back to our tailgate and felt so dehydrated we didn't even want a beer. Nothing but beer in the cooler because my dumb ### forgot to put some water in there. Fortunately I'd just bought that cooler the day before so we took plastic cups and was dipping the water from melted ice. To this day the best water I've ever had.

That game was brutal and it may have been the same year or the year before when we opened against North Texas State

The SCU game in '10 is the coldest in recent memory. That was just a part of the misery of that game.

Coldest game might be GT in 2011. Granted I was upper deck, sobering up, and we were getting killed while previously undefeated.

The long range forecast calls for a high of 91. By contrast, the highest September temperature for Clemson in 2003, the year of the Georgia game, was 89. That may or may not have been on game day. I couldn't find the exact day of the month that occured.

120 degrees on the field according to Jim Phillips, he stripped down to his boxers to call the game as there was no AC in the press box at that time ...............

Hottest Game?????
Aug 25, 2015, 3:31 PM
|
|
1966 Clemson/UVa in DV. Band Day. we rode in from Gastonia and were on the field at 9:00 to practice. 85F then and the games started at 2:00(no TV). Half time around 3 when it was about 90. We wore wool band uniforms all day and drank so much water.
Stayed to the end when the Needle led us back from 18-35 to win 40-35 with 22 points in 4th quarter.
The rode non air conditioned bus home. Inside smelled like a locker room about Sparkle City.
That's D**m HOT, Roosevelt!!!!

NCST game I believe it was 2009, Kyle Parkers first pass was a pick 6. But we won by about 20 I think.
