Get what you're saying but oh HECK NO!! Applying/going to Clemson was the ONLY option!! And if I hadn't gotten into THE best school in the State, well I was gonna have to go somewhere out-of-State (although I don't know what school b/c I didn't apply anywhere else, wasn't even allowing myself to think anything other than CLEMSON!) ALL IN!! GO TIGERS!

Back in the day, you didn't have to apply...

Nov 29, 2013, 11:09 AM

... I got an acceptance letter to the poultry plant without ever applying.

Back in the day, they used to mail those out like mailings from the Publisher's Clearing House. "You May Already Be A Loser! Come to South Carolina and find out for sure!"

They couldn't read my application.
Apparently something about my gap was over 1.2 so the words were too big. Idk.

I never applied to college..ANY college

Nov 30, 2013, 6:44 AM

One day my junior year of high school, I came home to find a letter from Clemson. On the outside it said "This is your official acceptance to a Clemson University!" Game over. No essays, no interviews, no watching the mailbox. And a VERY relaxing senior year!

But if I HAD applied to colleges, no chance SCU would have been one of them.
