Rich Rod and The Chad I would put up as having overall success.

Arizona was down last year but he has had some success there and WVU was a great run and one brain fart against Pitt from going to the BCS championship. Chad has slowly improves SMU each year

13-9 home loss to 4-7 Pitt

A win would have secured them a spot in the national title game vs Ohio State. That ended up being the year LSU won it with 2 losses

Got it. I thought you meant the coach made a bonehead decision. Basically, the whole team laid an egg.

Charlie Waller was the OC here at Clemson from 1957 - 65. He went to the San Diego Chargers as the OC and then served as head coach for, I believe, at least, one year. He and I played on the same fast pitch softball team along with Fred Cone and several other assistant coaches when he was here. Heisman was probably the most successful college coach of those who served as head coach at Clemson. Charlie Pell had a good record at Florida but his tenure was clouded by infractions. In the 1939's and 40's, I believe one or two former Clemson coaches went to Florida but the Gators were horrible during those years.
