Acceptable football loses this year

We obviously want to win them all. What to you would be acceptable? ALLBARN? GT on Thursday? King Louisville? Florida State? I think we should beat Allbarn handily, but 9:30 and first game may be tougher then we think. GT on Thursday, they should be better this year, but we should win. Louisville at home night game- forget it. That brings us to FSU. Talent wise and big night game. If we play well and get beat I think this would be the only acceptable loss. Thought??

Well since the FSU game is the de facto ACC championship

now that we have reached the upper echelon in the league, I would say that is the least "acceptable" loss. I'd rather lose to Auburn or Troy.
That being said, I feel like the expectation to go undefeated in the regular season is there for this team again this year.
But if we lose one game (or even two) I certainly won't be on suicide watch or anything.

0 Ls is acceptable. I know our boys will give it their all and you never know in football if we play a good team like FSU on the road the ball can bounce the wrong way. That being said I have faith that DW and co will overcome any adversity.

Realistically we will probably lose a game, but none of them

seem acceptable if i have to pick one. I'm not gonna sit here and crush Dabo and the team if they lose a tough game at FSU, but god i don't want to think about losing to those ######### right now. I can't stomach that at the moment.
GT? Hell no. We need to put a stop to whatever kind of voodoo ish they use against us when we go to Atlanta.
Auburn? Opening the season with a loss? The SEC cockroaches would be crawling all out of the woodwork. I don't even want to think about it.
Coots? NO. NO. NO. NO.

to either the NFC or AFC Champs in Feb..
Stray thought.....I'd really like to see a 3 back set, with Wilkins & Big Dex as the blocking backs. We'd need to make sure that the ambulance was in ready mode.....so we can get the opposing linebackers off the field quickly.

This is a typical question for this time of the year.

We should all try to understand that our coaching staff and players set a goal every year of winning the NC game. That does not mean that they have failed if we don't win it all it just means that we have failed to reach our goal.
Man's reach should exceed his grasp. Somebody smart said that. Should we expect to lose a game with a team such as we expect to have? Heck no. Our coaching staff and players should be good enough to go toe to toe with anybody in the NCAA this year. They've proven that time and time again.
I expect no less from them than they expect from themselves but I'll be the first to bich and moan among family and friends if we lose one along the way or one at the end. I will not insult the integrity of our staff or players and especially not our fine University over a football game.
I can live with another beatdown of USuCk, all but maybe one of our ACC mates and a good azzwhupping of another SEC team in a bowl.
Even a lady burps or farts every now and again.

This is DWs last season and he is a once every 20 years kind of player. We must win them all because it's going to be even tougher to win a NC without him.
