I've heard that a few times.... there is ONE reason they

Sep 22, 2012, 6:06 PM

say that...

Bama and LSU...

Cam was in the spread. Tebow was in the spread. Oregon is in the spread.

Bama and LSU have caused two things... "SEC defense" and "spread can't work".

BS

"I've been working since I was 15 continually until now. I worked 40 hours a week at 15, when it wasn't even legal for 15 year olds to work that many hours."

florida, awbarn abandoning it hasn't helped your argument.

Sep 22, 2012, 6:20 PM

the problem is if you don't have a motor like tebow or cam, you ain't got much.

as you know, 'spread' is a funny term. how you run your offense off of it differs tremendously.

Didn't Allbarn run a spread too???

Sep 22, 2012, 6:06 PM

This guy.....not to mention Andre Ellington is a WR now....palm to face

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Well, a counter argument could be made that

Sep 22, 2012, 6:09 PM

Urban was only successful with Tebow. And Gus was only successful with Cam. I am not saying that it couldn't work, just making a counter argument for the two coaches.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Well played. Without facts, any argument can be made!***

What about FSU's run in the 90's?

Sep 22, 2012, 6:11 PM

It wasn't in the "I"... Charlie Ward, Chris Weinke, etc... were in the gun

But what if it was a SEC spread???

Sep 22, 2012, 6:13 PM

You put SEC in front of anything and it has to be great right?

SEC Crap!

Re: But what if it was a SEC spread???

Sep 22, 2012, 6:14 PM

Well, that would necessarily be a championship-caliber crap.
