If he's 6'3 180, I'd expect him to probably slide to 3rd base at Clemson. You don't see a lot of SS who are that tall.

I said it's not common, didn't say it never happens.
He's a big kid, and logic says he'll add muscle over the next year and look more like a 3b than a SS. I don't see it as a bad thing given our recent struggles at third.

Plenty of big time shortstops out there who are 6 feet plus. I wasn't one of them thus I am sitting home on tigernet!!! Good job Coach Lee. You win being strong up the middle.

There are plenty of exceptions, but if he's 6'3 180 after his junior year of high school he probably has some growing left to do. Y'all act like moving from SS to 3B is some kind of insult.

Hmm, TigerNet really doesn't like things that look like ...

... HTML or XML tags.
I put the word "cough" surrounded by a less than and greater than sign on both sides of "Scott Wingo" and they were strippd away.
Lesson learned.

You don't think he was a solid player and team leader ...

... who was a major factor for SCAR in those seasons?
Yes, we had a very good second baseman at that time too in Freeman so Wingo may not have seen the field (who knows).
Just seems some very good players that had connections to Clemson have gone elsewhere (I'm especially disappointed to seem them go to SCAR). I don't like to see this, but that's just me.
I'm not trying to start a thing about Leggett. I was disappointed we didn't get Jay Rome (though he hasn't exactly set the world on fire at UGA), but I'm not saying "fire Dabo".
Lawdy, some of you folks fly off the handle around here a bit too easy.
