at Syracuse, unable to read blitzes and continually throwing in to double coverage and creating pick six opportunities for Syracuse. 34-10, Syracuse.

I'll never understand why a "tiger fan's would talk like that about one of our own. Nothing Johnson has done would suggest he would play bad or can't read coverages.

You've seen 5 freakin' minutes of the kid in a blowout against Kent State and in garbage time against Wake. You have absolutely no idea what he would play like in an away game, and frankly, I'm just tired of the rampant speculation about how obvious it was that Hunter Johnson would have been God Made Flesh.

School I trust coaches bringing to clemson. He does not need 35 plays to call!!! A healthy HJ is better than an injured KB

So you seeing him in the same games made you decide he sucks? Don't think anyone thinks he his God but he was the #1 QB in his class, ranked higher than Watson. I'd say Watson played ok for a freshman why couldn't Johnson?

Why do you hate the kid and hope he isn't successful? I didn't say he will be as good but I'm not going to say he can't either, that's just stupid. You do know he plays for Clemson right? I've never saw so many people pulling against a guy that hasn't even got a shot. Y'all do know he was a 5 star and #1 QB in his class right? What am I missing? I hope he is as good or better than Watson and don't know why anyone besides a coot would hope different.

Whether HJ would have thrown 3 touchdowns and led us to another blowout win over the cuse. What we do know is that Zerrick Cooper is incapable of running away from a blitz, and he doesn’t throw touchdown passes against real teams. If Dabo puts all the pressure on our defense and rides Cooper to another loss, then he will deserve to catch some grief for his stubbornness. We’ll see what he decides to do.

Bro you can’t hit these people with such a barrage of the truth. It’s like shooting wads of pea gravel out of a potato gun into a crowd. People scatter and then once a few are out of harms way they start talking like they were all knowledgeable & calm during the whole incident.
You’re exactly right with your assessment though, no matter what the arm chair coaches on here want to pretend to know

because the coaches didn’t play him. That is what so many Clemson fans are frustrated about - the coaches stuck with a QB who was not playing well and could’ve at least given Johnson a shot. They didn’t, and we lost.
I do not think anyone here knows for sure how Johnson would’ve done. Nobody is claiming he would’ve been perfect, but he might’ve been better than Cooper.

I said back in Feb, that Johnson was the best option. With that said, Bryant has done better than most of us expected. But when our defense was holding teams under 20 points, it's not like our offense was being tested. I said ALL ALONG, when our defense has a bad day, that we're probably in trouble. And that's what you got against Syracuse. Regardless of how just about any offense is playing for any team. When you have a top 10 defense, you're probably going win alot of games. I am not sure we're winning games due to the play of KB so much as the fact that the defense has played lights out--minus the Syra. game.
Ok, ok... Offense played good against L'ville/K-state; But outside of that...not so much. If this team ever needed to score in a shoot-out, or high scoring game. Not sure we could

You’re a dumba$$!!
Us losing to SU had NOTHING to do with Dabo’s pending move OR His wanting to visit his alma mater....for a ceremony in a way honoring HIM!
We lost.....because Syracuse came to PLAY that night! And mentally we unfortunately....stayed in the locker room!
Go Tigers!!!!

Well all we can do is hope the coaches learned from last week. If Kelly can't pick up a 2nd and 1 and runs out of bounds limping then he needs to be pulled cause he's hurt. If Cooper plays this week and can't/won't throw the ball farther than 10 yards he needs to be pulled and give Hunter a shot. Can't expect to beat the likes of NC State, FSU, and sc throwing screens every 3 plays. Also need to get the defensive pay calls in. Really hope the coaches and players have been doing some soul searching and realizing they can be great if they tweak a few things.
