Quessshun?

First of all, the coots, especially Connor Shaw played one hail of a game against Mizzzou. Not to mention that the ole ball coach did a pretty good job at coaching and calling the plays.
Now, my quessssshun is, has a Clemson team EVER been down by 17 points (17-0)after the 3rd quarter against a top 5 ranked team and brought in an injured starting QB who took the team to a game tying touchdown in the final minute of regular play, and then led the team to a win in 2 overtime periods? Could any Clemson team in the past 15 years have done it? Can any Clemson team in the next 10 years do it?
I know that I am one of those rare Clemson fans that give the coots credit when they deserve it. And, yeaterday, Connor Shaw showed that he is the best QB that has ever played the game in the state of SC. I wish he played for Clemson. Just like the coot fans, We'd be darn proud of him.

best to ever play in SC? He's a tough SOB who i wish

was a Tiger, yes, but i don't know about the best to play in SC. I think i'd take Fuller over him and if Tajh had a better O line in front of him throughout his career he'd set records that would never be broken. I give Chicken individual players credit when they deserve it. Rogers is the best college RB i ever saw play. An absolute beast. Sharpe was a future NFL HOFer if he wouldn't have had the neck issue and he was a phenomenal college WR as well. Shaw is a hell of a tough athlete playing QB but I'll despise that program and wish 0-11 on them til the day i die.

We were down 35-0 in the Third Quarter when Jimmy Addison, also called "The Needle", began one of the greatest comebacks in Coach Howard's career. Our defense held the Cavaliers from then on, and Jimmy lead an offense that scored 40 straight points. It was the homecoming game that year.

We were actually down 35-17 late in the 3rd quarter of that game when Jimmy Addison led the comeback. One play I remember was a 75 yard wheel route TD pass to RB Jacky Jackson. That was the game that Howard's Rock was unveiled and my wife's first game at Death Valley. It was my senior year at Clemson. Jimmy Addison was the national player of the week for that game.

I was there, a Clemson Senior, along with my future wife for that game. Had forgotten that comeback.
