We still got enough talent on O

Oct 20, 2014, 10:56 AM

To score more than 17 pts against BC? Im not saying it's anybody fault but come on now. But I will gladly take the win, thanks BC for chiting the bed.

That was 2 hard-nosed, ACC defenses competing. Just smashmouth football. Instant classic.

I agree but BC dropped some big passes

BC always drops passes,

Oct 20, 2014, 10:59 AM

that's why they're a running team.

I'm sure glad they did. They didn't look to good running the ball on our Tigers.

Clemson dropped quite a few too. Just part of the game.***

I understand that but usually at the end vs Clemson they catch them. We dodged a bullet.

If I were ever a WR coach - and I won't be - I'd have them

train some with a goalkeeper coach. No, there's no magic that will eliminate all the drops but having played the position for years I can say that the emphasis on getting two hands to wherever the ball is, and then catching it with those hands as opposed to your body would be a great thing for a lot of the guys that have great speed but average hands.

Meant to say Sammy Watkins catches that way - the first

Oct 20, 2014, 11:56 AM

time I saw him "######" a ball out of the air I told the wife that he looked like a goalkeeper riding a rocket.

You guys are just spoiled. I remember plenty of Saturdays sitting in the Valley watching Danny Ford's team playing a many 10-7 or 13-10 games where it was in doubt until the end. We will start rolling when we get healthy!

I'm 42 and remember very well the Danny years. The only thing different is we could run the ball and eat clock

None of their drops were as big as the Aaron Kelly drop in 2007. It was just trying to even things out.

Yep that was a heart breaker that pass landed right in hands.
