We get open threes as a result. We just don't make quite as many of them as well as we did last year, which is why we are on the bubble right now instead of firmly in. With just slightly better three point shooting, we would have beaten Miami and NC State. In other words, we would be 8-6 right now instead of 6-8.

Just a couple more made baskets this year and we wouldn't have nearly the negativity on the basketball forum here. Well, we would still have some, because some people just like to complain, but it would be less. :)

Our biggest problem this year. Our guys who have to do the penetrating are the ones who can hit a 3.
