Watson "injury prone"?

Jan 31, 2015, 9:16 AM

I think Watson has gotten a bad rap about being injury prone.

He has had 2 freakish accidents to the start of his Tiger career.

The broken bone in his hand was just plain unlucky. Same with the collar bone crack.

Collar bone is the most broken bone on the human body.

Everyone that saw the play that hurt his knee against Ga Tech has got to be shaking their head
like me and wondering how that LCL tear happened.

I think DW is gonna be fine from here on out. He has filled his freaky injury quota for his career.

Lord let's hope so. But I think his injuries have very little to do with his durability.

Would have been nice to have red shirted him

So he could have put on some weight before playing.

But you know, Swag Kelly thing and all.

the kid's Superman...he's tough enough to overcome it obviously!

Jan 31, 2015, 9:20 AM

He's special...but this will only get better :)
We've got some excellent QBs following him in!!!
Record-breakers! Just keep watching Clemson....

Watson is not injury prone he just didn't have a lot of time to heal from high school also add in that he did not red shirt to get a chance to grow. Deshaun will be OK he may have a nagging injury here or there but he will be alright.

I believe we have just signed 2 more of that caliber who are on campus now in Kelly and Israel. We will be reloading at QB for a while, if all of them stay, and I hope they do.

stupid decisions by the coaches

Tackle the QB in spring practice and run the QB the first 20 plays vs ga tech.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Well, he was kinda the same way in High School

Jan 31, 2015, 9:24 AM

He had the label before he even got to Clemson. That was his only knock that he was frail.

He never missed a high school game , and started as a freshman.
Everyone is prone to injury , everyone.

the citizens "hoping" DW is injury prone are just

Jan 31, 2015, 9:25 AM

coot fans who are "stupid-prone" themselves.

They're praying something, anything will derail the Tigers current ascent.

Unless you mean the injurious way he inflicts TDs on the opposition . If that , then yes , Mr.Watson is very much " injury prone ".

Freakish injuries are still injuries

Jan 31, 2015, 11:50 AM

And, no matter how you categorize Watson's injuries, he's had more than his share in his short time here. I'd say, based on his one year of practice and play, that he's actually severely injury prone.

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

The coots pray he's injury prone.

Jan 31, 2015, 12:50 PM

They somehow think that we can't beat them with Watson out.

Re: they do pray...won't help though.

Jan 31, 2015, 12:53 PM

We already beat them with an injured Watson powering it in & juking them on one leg & a torn ACL!!!
No worries there ;)
