Want to See what the SU fans are Writing?

Oct 26, 2014, 2:18 PM

go to the www.poststandard/syracuse.com site under football. not much about the atmosphere at DV but they seem to be rather upset about the boos for the SU injuries. Numbers 13 and 50 went down, got up aided off the field, sat down no one checked on them and a couple of plays they were back in the game. Yea, a real injury! These a....wholes up there want a rivalry, we need to beat that Little Bohiem here in Littlejohn and then go up there next year with DW and our lay 70 on them . Was disappointed thnt Dabo chose not to push the final score in as a way of showing our disgust with their "fake injury" strategy.

You post as if you think Dabo could have pushed the score.

Did you see our offense last night?

sure could have in the last 2-3 minutes. Easily. They were out of gas!

score. Imagine if we ran it in instead of taking a knee at the end, that would've really been classless.

Also, theres no reason to let them have a chance to get the ball back in that situation. If Cole threw it or we were more aggressive, we still had a chance at losing the game.

It's about polls now. 23-6 vs 16-6 and doubt we drop

Everybody else runs it up when they can and nothing is said

When you can take a knee to win, you do

The only real exception may be when you have all your backups in at the end of a laugher of a game and you let them run a conservative offense.

but otherwise, the moment you can take a knee and win then the ONLY smart play is to do so.

Agreed 100%

He could have. Apparently you missed the second half.

Go be a pessimistic little b!tch elsewhere. We moved at will at the end of the game and had 7 more points just running it up the gut.

no, not on this board. Stop already!!!***

Apparently you couch potatoes have never had a cramp.

Oct 26, 2014, 3:14 PM

Not saying that every injury is legitimate, but if you cramp up, you're going down. Cannot keep walking with a hamstring cramp or a calf cramp. They are EXTREMELY painful, short-lived, and have no lasting effects, if you can hydrate enough to get over it. They can also be triggered in wierd ways by making awkward movements or straining a muscle that doesn't look like something that would hurt otherwise.

Ever had a cramp? Could that explain the injury and short lived nature of it? Could that explain why there wasn't any further evaluation going on with the trainers on the sidelines?

All of you know-it-alls are tiresome.

I know, and they always happen when

our offense just got to a point where they can run up tempo. And their defense is way more crampy than their offense. Might want to check and see if they have man parts.

Cramps, while painful, are not a real injury. I would expect cramps when we are playing on a 90 degree humid day, not a 60 degree night. Our players weren't going down every other play with a case of the cramps. I would expect that a team that is used to playing in a hot and humid climate , like syracuse (at least that's what their coach and fans called it), would not cramp up much. Either they were faking, or they were poorly conditioned. Either way it was their fault and not a freak accident or injury, so they were rightfully booed. Plus it was funny how they were never injured or cramped up when they stuffed us at the line or made a sack. It wad always after we connected on a few plays and went uptempo.
