From my perspective he has been used perfectly, He will have less mileage on him come CFP time and will be counted on to tote the ball a bunch.

ESPN isn't going to give the Heisman to Clemson, it ain't gonna happen. That isn't the reason he spends so little time on the field. It's about keeping him healthy. More minutes/carries/blocks results in exposure to injuries. He won't get tired and he won't get hurt on the bench.

This is a luxury most teams can't afford and it also keeps the backups active, conditioned, experienced and happy.

he has been the hot hand in pretty much every game this year, but he has also been shut down a few times with teams picking their poison against us.
