Play4Kay

Thursday’s game is Clemson women’s basketball annual Play4Kay game. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to show their support for cancer awareness. Additionally, the Tigers are participating in the National Free Throw Challenge. Fans can pledge a dollar amount for every made free throw by the Tigers during the month of February to show their support.

What To Watch For

The Tigers and the Seminoles have met twice a year in ACC play since the 1991-92 season (except 1997-98, only met once). Clemson has recorded a series sweep nine times, with the last one coming in 2001-02.

Senior Danielle Edwards is two assists away from the 300-assist mark in her career. She’d become just the third player in program history to reach 300 assists, 250 steals and 1,000 points.
A win on Thursday would bring Clemson’s ACC win total to seven, which would match the Tigers’ most conference wins since 2004 (7-9 in ACC).

The Tigers have shot better than 50 percent from three in back-to-back games (first time since 2014). They have not gone three straight games with a shooting percentage of 50 percent or better since November 2010.
