ACC Realignment

Go with the hypothetical....assuming that the ACC finally inks Notre Dame as a permanent member, what school rounds out the 16?
WVU, Rutgers, UCONN, an SEC school?

I would say we have to many florida schools, but USF could grow in the acc, too many NC schools but APP state could use a step up (remember they beat michigan!!!) and know what the lower championship is about ... However realistically ... wait for it wait for it... Louisiana school or ..... Hornfrogs steal em from the big 12 or .. SMU they use to be great, ... they learned their lesson, we need a school in texas

ND will have to join a conference at some time in the future. Once the 16 team superconferences and playoffs start, any team without access to a championship will always have one game less than the others and be locked out of the NC picture.

adding 1 extra win in the formula for nd, when determining who gets in the play-offs, since they are not in a conf. and can't (through no fault of their own) play in a conf. champ. game.

Realistically: Navy, Cincy or UConn.

Hard to imagine any SEC leaving, unless Vandy decides that they just don't want to be associated with it anymore.
WVU, I believe, is a ship that has sailed.
Rutgers also is gone.
Penn State would be a dream but if they were unhappy at all in the Big 10, I would imagine adding some Northeastern schools (Maryland and Rutgers) helped that.
I like Navy because it reclaims the DC area and gives ND another in-conference rival. It's also a national program, a major prestige school and it has the biggest game in the country (and only game on TV) at the end of each year. Also, if we realigned by North/South regions, they could be reasonably competitive in a conference with BC, Syracuse, Pitt, ND, Louisville, VT and UVA (or Duke or Miami).

According to their fans, they hate the SEC and would gladly leave.
