Same for grocery stores, Wal-Marts, Lowe's, all that. Polling lines are long, tight, and slow, even with social distance measures in place.

That would make way more sense to an extent. It wouldn't be as idiotic as his first comment. Anyway, some people have various issues which prohibit them from standing in line for 3, 4, or 5 hours to cast their vote. I know my 96 year old Grandpa can not. They should also make it a national holiday.

I said various reasons. How about someone who doesn't have 4 hours to stand in line who has kids and a job etc etc? Who pays for the daycare? Then you add Covid and someone who is obese. They are vulnerable. Do all obese have to stand in line for 4 hours? What about someone who has a bad back? The list goes on and on? Long story short, Repubs want a low turnout.
