CBSSPORTS.COM (see below). Is this the “scope” procedure discussed in posts below or more serious. I want Bama to win so we have #IV in Santa Clara!

“Tua Tagovailoa actually underwent surgery on the ankle injury he suffered in the fourth quarter of the SEC Championship Game, according to Aaron Suttles of The Athletic. Jalen Hurts, his backup and hero against Georgia, had a minor procedure on his ankle in the middle of the season that knocked him out of two games and limited him down the stretch. Saban believes Tagovailoa will be back on the field in approximately two weeks.”

According to saban Bama often scopes ankle sprains to relieve pressure and to speed up recovery. Dr Andrews office does this procedure fir Bama.
