Funny tidbit on our academic reputation

Dropped the new #20 ranking (didn't mention we're tied) in a conversation with a prospective employer here in china, and she replied "I know this famous university." Pretty proud.
Maybe it's the love for tigers here? Anyways, t-net generally overstates the reputation of Clemson academically I think (remember that thread asking if anyone ever got into CU but rejected from USCe? That would be me), but that was a cool feeling of my degree working for me.
Back to the football though, love (most) y'all

Had sort of a peculiar app--out of state, variance in GPA vs. testing. Special circumstances to some extent. It was sort of a crapshoot applying all over.
Needless to say, pleased with how it all turned out.

That rejection letter was framable , you should create a shrine to it as the thing that took your life on its upward journey rather than ending up at a place like USuCk and becoming the Wendy's chili stirrer.

Very well said! He, undoubtedly left off or failed to disclose something on his usuc application causing it to be rejected that he included on his Clemson application which made it complete and acceptable.

Nah nothing like I forgot something. Both schools got the same app. I had great test scores, weak grades, someone was going to take a chance on me. It ended up being Clemson.
