Watson would have won it this year and I don't care what his numbers would have been. I think a lot of the voters felt bad after giving the Heisman to Jackson for the 2016 season that Watson would have gotten a lot of votes just based on what happened in 2016. With that though if Watson would have put the numbers up he did this year he did his other 2 he would have won. I don't think it is necessarily about the stats. I think stats aside its hard to predict because when you get into the season you can kind of feel who the best player is. Also because Watson didn't win has nothing to do with Trevor winning it. There might not be any other great players Trevor has to win against. Its just too hard to say because the situation of winning a Heisman is different from year to year. Jackson's numbers were comparable to his Heisman year so why didn't he get any of the love he got then? Its all about the situation.

Timing is everything, maybe there won't be another Road To Glory QB out their putting up video game numbers while playing full games against terrible opponents and when games are already out of reach.

It isn’t unreasonable to wonder if Trevor might end up even better than Deshaun. Obviously it will take a ton of talent and hard work to do that, but it seems possible.
