did anybody hear his interview on the rivals website?
i think we need another WR esp if Mart. Bryant goes pro, which i think he will (will get a 2nd-3rd rd status)
anyway, didn't like the vibe of the interview thompson had
maybe has a great poker face, but seemed more excited about OSU ("Urban Meyer is my favorite college coach"), WVU (paraphrasing: know i can catch a lot of passes, perfect offense for me), and NC St. (a couple nc shrine bowlers in his ear about going there) than about clemson. that's pretty surprising b/c no way he'd RS, probably be in the top 5-6 for playing time. he did mention wiggins but got sense he wasn't thrilled we cooled on him for Malone, and now coming back to court him.
Thompson needs to understand this is a business and all those other schools also have a list of "A" players that if they can get, you have to sell out for them. if it doesn't work out, can't be offended the school comes back to you. Ky Priester, Marcus Edmonds, Ryan Carter, etc. perfect examples from last year.

We'll be fine if we don't take another receiver this year. Malone and Thompson would just be icing on the cake at this point. With that said, I think we'll still end up getting Thompson.
