Take out Williams or Whitehurst for Jordan? That hurts me.

I can't do that. I couldn't do the WRs either. It's impossible for me to put some of them below anybody.

IMO Will Proctor doesn't belong on that list.....

and I'd put Rodney Williams ahead of Woody Dantzler.
Also, until he earns if/when he earns it this coming season, Tajh is 2nd to Steve Fuller who is 1st. If Tajh has the season we're hoping he has, then maybe he passes Fuller for 1st place.

You can quote me on this. After this season, Tajh "Hiesman" Boyd will go down as the greatest Clemson player ever. I can feel it.

Proctor was solid, but he is not top 5, Mike Eppley trumps him, so if you are going to take one out and add then Eppley is our guy!

Charlie Waters was a wide reciever. Since you are going back to Harvey, how about Don King, Banks McFadden, etc?

Not fair, the game has gone from single-wing, to T-formation to wing-t to I formation to proset to spread, and I forgot some probably. Great players in every system. Most on these lists show the voting base is relatively young. Never saw the old guys play. So you have to do it by era, not just all-time.

Whitehurst would have been sick in Morris's system

I agree with these rankings (assuming Boyd senior year goes well).
But, I think Whitehurst is the best quarterback I've ever seen at Clemson, considering weak O-line, awful recievers and coaches we had then.
I'm okay with him being 4th on this list though.

So would Parker if he had Morris and some receivers

after Spiller and Ford left. That kid had a great arm and a gamer mentality.

A fair point, but I don't think Parker would have been successful with the Patriots system. He had an attitude that made everyone around him worse.

Unless Homer Jordan is on that list, it has zero credibility

Clemson only went 27-6-1 during the 3 years Homer was a starter. His teammates named him the MVP of the '81 season, which speaks volumes to his impact on that season. He finished the season 12th nationally in passing efficiency. He was also honorable mention All-American both his Junior and Senior seasons.
Whitehurst and Woody were talented guys, but they couldn't do what Homer did; beat three Top 8 teams, including the defending national champions, and win it all.
He may remain to this day the most underrated player in Clemson history. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/magazine/MAG1125121/index.htm
