Next weekends "neutral site " game

Is in Columbia. Why would Monte or DRad agree to that. Nothing about that is neutral and will most likely be 70-30 gamecock fans. No one ever wants to take a trip to Columbia, game should have been in Rock Hill or Charleston. Either way, itll hurt the numbers on Tiger fans showing up

This was discussed here back when the game was awarded.
The "neutral" site was awarded to the park with the winning (most lucrative) bid. North Augusta, Myrtle Beach, Rock Hill and Greenville all make better sense to Tigernet faithful and statewide fans who miss out on more games than folks in Columbia.
Nevertheless, it's all about the money.

Ha, lol, got me there big guy. I guess I should have clarified the Rock Hill , York, Charlotte region. Pretty sure the minor league team up there used to play in a stadium right on the border of all 3 counties. And yes, lol, i am aware they built a new Charlotte stadium. Still would have been a better option. 2 hour drive for both schools

The neutral site game alternates every year between Columbia and Greenville.

That's not permanent.
Last year the game was supposed to be in N Augusta to open the brand new ball park but the construction wasn't completed.

It doesn’t matter where we play...if this team can’t start putting some runs on the board we will lose. The bats have been atrocious.

For years and years and years all you heard from the beaks of the coot fans was how it was a huge disadvantage to them having to go to Greenville. Now the game is in Columbia at Segra Park, probably at the most only two miles from Founders Park and they consider this neutral LOL.

This is only fair. Connot have the neutral site always in Greenville. That is Clemson territory. Accept it at least every other year!
