He is recruiting well and has surrounded himself with great coaches. He is a good fit and knows how to help raise money for the school.
Needs to start beating S. Carolina. No complaints outside of that. That is a big one though!

So if we had a coach that couldn't recruit as well as
Dabo,not surround himself with a great staff, only graduate
65% of his players but beat usuc 3 out of 4, you would
be ok with that coach?

TB hired DABO and recommended Dabo as his successor. TB deserves lots of credit.

While I would not be ecstatic or as optimistic, yes I would be happier with that scenerio over losing 4 in a row against the only fan base I have to see every day of my life. I understand and respect that you don't feel that way. I also understand that Dabo is our only coach that has had to deal with an implanted Spurrier program.
I am no Dabo basher. I love some things he does. I hate some of our philosophy (running Boyd 27 times and Ellington 10 in the big games where our defense could really benefit from an adult running game). Over all our program is in great shape. Being in great shape could be no less enjoyable than it is right now with those 4 straight physical beatings to the #####.
None of those fan bases we are beating would stream my yard with garnet and black like I came home to at 3:00 in the morning. None of those other teams shout "f#*k Clemson" at me my, my wife, my 6 year old boy and 10 year old girl while leaving their stadium.
So as much as you want me to say it is so much fun beating NCSU, Wake, Maryland and beating tech every other year...... I'll take the crappy recruiting dumpster fire and 3 out of 4 over that group trash in Columbia every time.
