Realistically, Chad won't play for a year. Any attempt to play him at any point this coming season would be incredibly stupid and short-sighted. You simply don't recover from an ACL injury in 6 to 8 months.

You can't come back within 2 years if you're Derrick Rose, I guess. I guess 8 months is kind of realistic, it's happened before. Adrian Peterson came back less than 9 months after tearing an ACL, but who knows if the injuries were the exact same. And Peterson is superhuman, so not many people really compare to him. That would mean Chad would be ready around the first of the year in 2014. Him thinking that he will be ready to play against Georgia is just insane, but it's better to have a guy with lofty goals than a guy who would be content with just sitting back and watching while the team starts the 2014 season (I'm looking at you D-Rose.)

In his interview when saying THEY know my situation. I believe he was talking about his mother not being in the best of health. For me that shows his out standing character in putting his mother first and staying within a rocks throw to his home. I just hope that he never has to rush home from any where b/c of his mothers illness.

too much class and talent. I think Sackerlina Steve is a committee type QB coach at this point in Cootville , he likes the whole soap opera that gives him the attention every narcissist craves.

In 2015.

Give him a year in the system, and it will be lights out!!

Throwing to Hopper, Williams and Kitt, Richard and Leggett.

Potent offense will be an understatement.

Go Tigers!!!

on the field more than ever with Lots of three-and-outs and turnovers. Everyone on the offense will get their chance to play.

Realistically what happens if DeShaun comes in to the spring and flat out plays his tail off and wins the job outright and plays like a stud for four years (wishful thinking, I think he has the talent to start as a true freshman.) What happens to Chad? I don't think he will just sit back and watch, he has the ability to start as well. Will he transfer elsewhere?

I think we all hope Chad will start 2-3 years, DeShaun will redshirt his freshman year and get a solid 2-3 out of him too, but who knows if that will happen. Just throwing that out there to see what people's opinions are.

Honestly, I think Chad would be a good qb for us. I know he'll be battling back from injury, but he's had time in the system to learn. Watson may be superior from a skills standpoint, but I don't think its enough for him to overcome the mental aspect of just learning the system. I personally don't like the idea of starting a freshman unless its absolutely necessary. Chad came in as a highly rated guy. I hope he lives up to the billing, commands the team then leaves it to a Watson that knows things inside and out who can keep up a high level of play without the dropoff that normally comes from breaking in a freshman qb.

I like them both a lot...with Chad starting first & then DW

coming on like a comet a year later to make it some unreal competition. Of course, believe we have another QB that's 1st backup at the moment behind Tajh. What a problem!
