There's something in these hills.

My ex-girlfriends dad was a perfect illustration of this

Some sort of high level accountant at a big company here in town, multiple degrees, but I think walking and breathing at the same time was difficult for this guy....First time I met him he rolled up in an early 90's Chrysler Town & Country and it sounded like he was dragging rocks to stop it. Walked back to the porch and the rotted boards were crumbling beneath our feet, dude goes "Yeah, I think it's time to pressure wash it" like it was somehow salvageable or something. Also let the motor in their Suburban lock up because he went years (nobody knew exactly how long) without any sort of maintenance...We're talking no oil changes or even so much as a tire rotation. Then spent close to 100% of the value of the entire vehicle getting everything fixed. World class fugging idiot.

Crazy to think that fort was in columbia only a couple hundred years ago. Really explains why there's so much sand in the midlands

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

It was clever of them to build a fort way out in the water..

so the Indians couldn't attack it.

You know the cross on shutes folly island?

Jul 5, 2017, 12:50 PM

Somebody asked me if a church had once existed and is now buried and all that we can see is the top of the steeple

I had a lady not believe me that a seagull was a seagull. "In New York they look different..."

Capt Shawn was cool, I can only imagine the stuff he saw/heard. I was actually there when that lady asked it. Completely true story.
