when the cops showed up. He had 8 guns, some fully automatic, and cameras set up in the hall to know when the cops were coming to know to kill himself. He planned that out big time.

On this one, but in general when people are "known" by the police and then commit a serious crime it kinda makes profiling and the likes seem not so bad. Preemptive policing rather than reactive.
