That was a different defense. Our defense is much better than the last time we were in the Orange Bowl and our Offense did score 33 in that game and had a chance to score another that was fumbled and returned 99 yards. That started the domino effect on our team that had them quit. This team doesn't quit. They may make mistakes and do some stupid things but they don't quit.

His logic seems to be pretty straightforward. He's saying that both this year's Orange Bowl and the 2012 Orange Bowl following the 2011 season have the same level of meaning.

Even though there's no conference, state, or national championship to be gained with a win, I hardly see how a BCS Bowl doesn't mean anything. It means a ton in terms of national perception, even more this year because of what happened against West Virginia two years ago.
