L-ville has the #1 D in the country?

Oct 5, 2014, 4:30 PM

I just looked at a few message boards and they state that their D is #1. They talk like the O has struggled but the D is plenty good enough to stop DW and Co. They think that they really have a good chance to beat Clemson in DV.

Louisville faced Miami, Murray State, UVA, FIU, WFU, and Syracuse. Offensive juggernauts, all.

They have no idea of what's coming.

Was reading the same stuff from their fans. News to me.

Honestly don't know much about their team this year. Sounds like they have some talent and Petron-oh is a good coach. Looking forward to the challenge, and based on what I've seen so far, I think we're up to it at home.

Didn't NCS come in with the #1 ACC Offense ?

Oct 5, 2014, 4:47 PM

How'd that work out for them ? We'll beat UofL 49 to 16.

Louisville's top offensive opponent was UVA, ranked 59th, and they lost that game. Our worse offensive opponent was #51 NC State...

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

Not according to the espnu announcers.

They actually have a pretty good defense...

Oct 5, 2014, 5:24 PM

Remember, Charlie Strong recruited and coached these kids. They are well-coached, with some solid skills.

It will not be the cakewalk some assume.
