defund the police have caused a massive number of early retirements. That removes the experienced officers from active duty and leaves the rookies to learn while they earn. That is not helping rid the PF bad cops or those unqualified.
Cities are left with many mostly inexperienced police officer and bad cops in those cities which are defunding/cutting police budgets. Had Antifa and BLM wanted the more experienced and better qualified cops off the streets they could not have executed a better plan to reach that goal.
As individuals Americans are as smart or intelligence as anyone on earth. As a group we may be the stupidest. We have allowed those who comply with radical demands to systematically remove thousands upon thousands of experience officers who are most able to do an effective job of policing.

Had he asked without impeaching my intelligence, integrity or intent I would agree with you. My sin was the assumption that PBS and NPR were reporting the fact that many thousands of cops are retiring because of the calls and actions of defunding police had crushed their desire to serve was my oversight. Shame on me.
For that I apologize and confess ignorance as my reason while offering no excuse.
