There was a game in 1999, I think against NC ST

we lost this game. The officiating was horrible and basically cost us the game. The refs were suspended, but nothing ever came of it. Does anybody remember this.

I only remember b/c it was ding my senior year and one of my roommates' father was an ACC ref (he was never allowed to ref a clemson game being an alum).

Jim Knight's crew. Allowed a play to be run after the play clock expired. Resulted in a TD for State right before the half. Crew was suspended.

Yea Chuck the Chest was coaching NCST and his brother Rosie was on the officiating crew that screwed us over. They suspended the crew for 1 week and made a rule that Rosie couldn't officiate Chuck's games any more (as if the thought hadn't occurred to them beforehand that there might be a conflict of interest).
