This makes me wonder:
1) If TDP had hired Saban for the 2009 season, what would our program look like now, and would we have achieved what we have achieved?
2) If Dabo and Nick traded teams after this season, which would have a better chance of being successful with the other's program?

Kind of like that old Bum Phillips quote on Bear Bryant: "Bryant can take his'n and beat your'n, and then he can turn around and take your'n and beat his'n."

That's because the his'ns Bryant was recruiting was better than the your'ns. I think Dabo would do better at 'Bammer then Nicky would do here. Most of the great players would want to play for Dabo, IMHO.

Actually the quote was about Don Shula I believe. But it would apply to the Bear as well.
