Some offensive records update....

Boyd
--needs 887 more yards to break his record set last yr for yards in a season
--needs 5 tds to break his record set last yr for tds in a season
--already broke the record for passing tds and now has 16 more than Whitehurst
--if (and I think he will) he comes back next yr he will make it where every qb record will be almost impossible for anyone in the future to break. Luxury of playing in Chad's system

Hopkins
--Already has the receiving tds in a season by 2tds currently
--needs 123 yards to break Watkins receiving yards in a season set last yr.
--needs 22 more yards to break Aaaron Kelly's receiving yards in a career record.
--already has broken Kelly's Td in a career record and currently has that by 3tds.
--Not sure if he is coming back next yr but if he does he can shatter every receiving record in Clemson history and it will more than likely hold for a while with Sammy more than likely leaving after next yr.

Team

--needs 240 more plays to break last yrs record for plays in a season
--needs 983 yards to break last yrs record for yards in a season
--needs 5tds to break last yrs record for tds in a season.

Are those records for the regular season....12 games ,or do they include the acc champ and orange bowl....14 games,I think we will only play 13 games this year.

In college, stats for all games - including conference championships and bowl games - are included.

When I posted earlier this year, Boyd was on pace to beat Phillip Rivers in yardage, and to place 2nd in TDs for his career. Not sure if that's still true, but still good nonetheless.

To break rivers TD record for career(needs 30 more), needs 6 more to tie rivers TD in a season record. Needs 6388 to tie rivers yards in career record.
